Sheyenne Valley Area Career and Tech. Center in Valley City, ND
Must have, or be able to acquire, a valid ND teaching license (potentially through transition to teaching program) and pass FBI background check.
Position to include advisement of FFA
203 day contract (school year plus 20 days paid at daily rate)
Facility information
Large classroom adjacent to 30’x 70’Automated/Heated High-Tunnel Greenhouse
Access to Welding lab, Wood Shop, and Automotive Shop
Assess to Hi-tech equipment: 3D printers, wide format printers, vertical mills/routers, CNC plasma table, Laser engraver, STEM carts
Two blocks North of North Dakota Winter Show building.
Space for outdoor classroom activities.
Salary Benefits
Salary: up to $82,000 D.O.E
Additional compensation for FFA Advisor. Pay depends on # of activities provided.

Other Information
Teaching load: Will adjust to fit applicants’ strengths to the extent possible with two 90-minute block long classes for 11-12th graders and two 45-minute periods. to include 8th grade exploring Ag., and 9-10th grade Intro. to Ag.
Position to serve students from Maple Valley, Valley City, Barnes County North, and Litchville-Marion who travel to the CTE Center daily for classes.

Information Technologies Instructor
The Sheyenne Valley Area Career and Tech. Center is seeking a full time High School Information Technology Instructor for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicant must be able to meet State Certification requirements.
Up to $72,125 salary depending on experience and credentials. Benefits include a full Single low deductible coverage Health Insurance, paid retirement, disability and more.
Courses offered could be adjusted to match the strengths of the instructor to an extent but would need to include Programming Essentials (Python) as well as Intro to Cyber Security.
